RIP Richard Tandy (formerly Ugly`s and Balls; BTW: also ELO)

Worldwide the media have reported the death of ELO keyboardist Richard Tandy, who died on 1 May at the age of 76.

Visitors to this website will be interested to know that Richard Tandy played in a band with Steve Gibbons twice before his time with ELO: The first time was with „The Ugly’s„. and then, immediately afterwards, with the „Balls“.

Dave Scott Morgan, ex-Ugly`s, ex-Balls and ex-ELO, who recorded the concept album „Earth Rise“ with Tandy with Tandy, remembers in his YouTube programm „Dave`s Song Factory“remembers Richard Tandy and their collaboration and presents the demo version of a song he wrote with Tandy long time ago.
